KUALA LUMPUR: A book on the Transformasi Nasional 2050 (TN50) was launched at Dewan Rakyat here today.
Titled “Dasar Buku Negara dan TN50: Perjuangan Yang Perlu”, it was launched by Speaker Tan Sri Pandikar Amin Mulia.
The book was compiled by Sungai Besar Member of Parliament Tuan Budiman Mohd Zohdi.
Budiman said he hoped the book published by Malaysian Institute of Translations and Book (ITBM) will be a reference for Malaysians to better under the TN50 policy.
“The National Book Policy has been referred to since 1980s and it needs to be updated to be more inclusive and aligned with the digital age while gaining the public’s interest to read,” he said.
Pandikar, in congratulating Budiman, said by publishing the book, the MP did a great service to Malaysians and his fellow elected representatives in Dewan
“Its not easy to debate and write and he did it,” Pandikar said during the launch which was also attended by Johor Baru MP Tan Sri Shahrir Abdul Samad.
The book retails at RM20 each.
