JELI: Police arrested a drug addict who they believe was responsible for a spate of motorcycle thefts here.
The 34-year-old foreigner was caught with a stolen motorcycle by a team of patrolling policemen at Kampung Gemang here at about 5am.
Acting district police chief Assistant Superintendent Ahmad Haizan Abdullah said tubes containing powder believed to be heroin and tools were also recovered from the man.
"He has been remanded for 14 days to facilitate police investigations into the case," he said.
