Dental technician found dead in own home 72 hours later

PORT DICKSON: A 28-year-old dental technician was found dead in his house at the Lukut health clinic quarters, here this morning.

The body of Mahusin Abd Rahim was found on a mattress in the home at 8.30am by a friend, who had dropped by to check on him after Mahusin failed to show up at work since Friday.

Port Dickson District Police Chief, Superintendent Zainudin Ahmad said, it is believed that the victim had been dead for more than 72 hours.

“We are still investigating the cause of death. The victim’s wallet and motorcycle is missing. We are investigating this case from all aspects,” he said.

He said that at the moment, the case is classified as sudden death, pending a complete report from the Forensic Department.

Zainudin said the victim, who is from Kelantan, was known to be active in sports and had represented Port Dickson in football during a Sukan Rakyat event.
