KUALA LUMPUR: A jogger in the Chinese city of Dandong, in Liaoning Province, is believed to have been distracted when he ran into the glass door of a shopping centre on Thursday.
According to the South China Morning Post, surveillance footage shows the man running at high speed into the glass door by accident, shattering it.
Several shards of glass from the damaged door were found embedded in the man, with one appearing to have severed a carotid artery in his neck.
Police secured the scene as paramedics attempted to help the man on site, before he was rushed to hospital.
But the jogger died shortly after arriving at the facility from haemorrhagic shock from blood loss, the Public Security Bureau of Dandong said.
