SEREMBAN: It was not only nomination day for the Rantau by-election this morning, but also a unique reunion of sorts for several leaders who currently hold and previously held the nation's number 2 post.
Former deputy prime minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi who was at the nomination centre at SJK (C) Seri Sendayan today met with his successor Datuk Seri Dr Wan Azizah Wan Ismail.
Also present were two former deputy prime ministers, Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin who is now Home Minister and Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim, now PKR president and Port Dickson parliamentarian.
Not wanting the unique meet-up to go unrecorded, Ahmad Zahid shared a photo of the four together on his social media account.
"A photo with the DPM and 3 former DPMs at the Rantau state seat nomination day," Ahmad Zahid said.
On Twitter, the photo has garnered over 200 likes as at press time.
