KUALA LUMPUR: A motorcyclist was killed in an accident involving seven vehicles along Sungai Besi-bound Jalan Istana, near Nirvana Memorial Park last night.
A 15-men team from Hang Tuah Fire and Rescue Department was rushed to the scene upon receiving a distress call about 8.47pm.
Its senior operation commander Assistant Fire Superintendent L Logeswaran, said six cars and a motorcycle were involved in the crash.
"A 52-year-old motorcyclist died on the spot while several car drivers and passengers sustained minor injuries.
"The injured crash victims receive treatment on location from our Emergency Medical Rescue Services (EMRS).
"The body of the motorcyclist has been handed over to the police for further action." he said in a statement.
