JITRA: A traffic policeman was killed when his motorcycle skidded and crashed into a roadside utility pole here, today.
Constable Adam Che Aziz, 25, was on his way from Hosba to Kampung Darat to report for duty for an Ops Samseng Jalanan operation when the accident occurred at 2am.
“The victim, who was attached to the Kubang Pasu police headquarters, died on the spot.
“His body was sent to the Jitra Hospital’s Forensic Unit for an autopsy, before being taken to his hometown in Machang, Kelantan for burial,” said Kubang Pasu police chief Superintendent Mohd Ismail Ibrahim
He added that the case is being investigated under Section 41 (1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.
