"Another 32 evacuees from nine families from Kampung Anak Bukit and Kampung Alor Gunung have been evacuated to SMK Alor Merah PPS," he said in a statement today.

Suhaimi also said that 12 people from four families who were evacuated to SK Malau PPS in Kubang Pasu were allowed to return home as flood conditions in the district have slightly improved.

"Floodwaters level in the affected areas in Kubang Pasu has receded as the weather improved this morning," he added.

Yesterday, the SK Malau PPS was activated to shelter 43 people from 11 families in Kubang Pasu after their homes were inundated by flood.
