Azmin joins Bersatu

KUALA LUMPUR: Former PKR deputy president Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali has formally joined Parti Pribumi Bersatu Malaysia (Bersatu).

The senior international trade and industry minister joined Bersatu along with top leaders of non-governmental organisations Penggerak Komuniti Negara, Nations of Women, Pemuda Negara and Wanita Muda Negara in the presence of Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin at the National Congress event, here, today.

Their application forms had been presented to organising secretary, Capt (Rtd) Muhammad Suhaimi Yahya.

It is understood that their applications had been accepted with immediate effect.

Azmin was sacked from PKR in February for going against the party's stand on the position of the prime minister.
