Lim said the ministry would not compromise in any bullying cases.

"In fact, we don't want any bullying cases.

"We have taken the necessary actions. In fact, there is a new circular to prevent bullying, sexual harassment and racial issues in schools.

Yesterday, police said it had submitted investigation papers on the form five students of MCKK who were allegedly involved in a bullying case to the deputy public prosecutor (DPP).

The case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code for voluntarily causing hurt which provides for a maximum jail term of one year or a maximum fine of RM2,000 or both, if convicted.

It was learnt that three form four students were being bullied by four form five students at the elite school.

Meanwhile, commenting on the case of a teacher who allegedly showed his private parts in a school in Balik Pulau here, Lim said the matter was also pending police investigation.

"We are aware of this incident but do not have further details. The case is being probed by police and I am made to understand the teacher was detained by police.

"If indeed it happened earlier this month, as alleged, then it is considered sexual harassment," she added.
