IGP: Ex-J-KOM DG Agus to be summoned tomorrow for questioning

KUALA LUMPUR: Police will once again summon former Community Communication Department (J-KOM) director-general Datuk Dr Mohammad Agus Yusoff to record his statement regarding a lewd conversation on video, which went viral on Friday.

Mohammad Agus will be called in tomorrow to have his statement recorded by Bukit Aman's Classified Crime Investigation Unit (USJT).

Inspector-General of Police, Tan Sri Razarudin Husain, said apart from Mohammad Agus, police will also call in J-KOM officer Abdul Wahab Abdul Kadir, who was chatting with Mohammad Agus in the video.

"Abdul Wahab will be summoned soon to assist the investigation.

"We will also be calling in other individuals as part of the investigation process," he told Berita Harian.

Razarudin said the investigation is also being done to ascertain the identity of the so-called 'Mr H', who was previously reported as having edited the video in question.

It has yet to be established where and when Mohammad Agus will have his statement recorded tomorrow.

Earlier today, federal Criminal Investigation Department director, Datuk Seri Mohd Shuhaily Mohd Zain, confirmed that the department would be holding a press conference on the case tomorrow.
