Lumi News continues making waves, introduces new in-app features

MALAYSIA's leading news aggregator app, Lumi News, has won a bronze award for Best Digital Tech Product at the 2023 d Awards held in June, just a year after the app's official launch.

Organised by the Malaysian Digital Association (MDA), the d Awards is a prestigious recognition of excellence in the Malaysian digital industry.

Lumi News' win is a testament to the app's commitment to providing users with a seamless and engaging news reading experience. The app's unique features, such as News Stacks, AI summaries and Chats, have given users a new way to embrace the diversity of digital content, from articles to videos and podcasts.

Lumi News chief executive officer Judith Yeoh said the company was honoured to receive this award from the MDA.

"This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our team, and we are committed to continuously provide our users with the best possible news reading experience," she said.

Following the win, Lumi News has continued its growth, and now boasts over 100,000 users in Malaysia.

It also recently released its latest version of the app, which comes with three new features.
