MyJPJ app introduces 'Kongsi LKM' feature, allowing public to share digital roadtax [NSTTV]

SHAH ALAM: Starting today, the public can share their digital roadtax using the new function "Kongsi LKM" on the Road Transport Department's (RTD) MyJPJ app.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke said vehicle owners would be able to share their digital road tax with family members, friends or other individuals authorised by the vehicle owner.

"Vehicle owners only need to click on the vehicle's license plate number and then click the 'Kongsi LKM' button to share their digital road tax with other individuals.

"This function also has a sharing time limit that can be set by the vehicle owner and has an activation code that needs to be given to the recipient of the digital road tax to activate the sharing.

"The system will also delete sharing records if it is not activated within 24 hours," he told a press conference after his working visit to Selangor Road Transport Department here today.

"For example, Ahmad intends to use his father's vehicle for a week. Before using the vehicle, his father can share the digital road tax to his son through the 'Kongsi LKM' function on the MyJPJ application."
