KUANTAN: Four districts in Pahang are inundated by floodwaters today, including Jerantut and Kuantan which became the latest districts to be affected. As of 9am, a total of 398 victims from 101 families were placed at eight temporary flood relief centres(PPS) in four districts.

A state Civil Defence Force (APM) spokesman said Raub remains the worst hit district with 324 victims from 80 families housed at five relief centres.

"Kuantan has 47 victims from 16 families at SK Fakeh Abdul Samad, followed by Jerantut with 18 victims from three families at SK Teh relief centre.

"In Lipis, nine people from two families are seeking shelter at Kampung Lentang multipurpose hall which was opened yesterday afternoon," said the spokesman.
