Police maintain sudden death classification over couple found dead in Seremban

SEREMBAN: The case involving a dentist and her foreign husband, who were discovered dead in their condominium on Jalan Keliling here yesterday, is still being classified as sudden death (SDR) by police.

District police chief Assistant Commissioner Arifai Tarawe said the results of the post-mortem conducted at the Tuanku Jaafar Hospital Forensic Medical Department (HTJ) here had not been determined yet.

"The post-mortem has been conducted at HTJ this morning, and the result is 'undetermined.' It requires further analysis in the chemical laboratory before obtaining a conclusive result.

"For now, the police are still classifying the case as SDR based on the on-site investigation and examination of the bodies, which found no signs of criminal elements," he said when contacted today.

Earlier, the police received information about the death of a 31-year-old woman and her 34-year-old husband at 12.49pm.

He said the preliminary investigation found that they were a married couple, with the man serving as an educator at an international school in Port Dickson, while his wife was a dentist at a dental clinic in Linggi.
