Netizens admire the family for their commitment to fast and to break barriers of culture and religion through their YourTube channel.

Netizens were also impressed that the couple, despite living in a non-Muslim country were encouraging their young children to take part in Ramadan rituals.

Social media user @eseojoon said the family was making a good effort to expose the children to fasting.

"I'm also curious about their parenting method.

"But from the content, the mother seems to be making an effort to teach little things about the Islamic religion to her children. So maybe the children will get used to it and want to do it without any coercion," he said.

Another YouTube user @Matthewlee1304 said the Kimbab family were sincere in their desire to wanting to take part in Ramadan practices.

He said despite what some netizens might feel about people posting content about Ramadan, the most important thing is sincerity when carrying out the obligations.

"Those who are clearly a Muslims are still getting backlash when they post fasting content, but when it's non-Muslims create the content and tries to fast all day, many of people are amazed and don't really question whether it's just content or whether they really are fasting.

"Never question someone's faith because that is a matter between people and their creator and it does not need to be validated by humans," he said.
