#NSTviral: Malaysian woman sets up Deepavali altar to honour departed dogs [WATCH]

KUALA LUMPUR: A Malaysian woman went above and beyond arranging a special altar during Deepavali to honour the memory of her departed canines.

A dog lover, Ananthi Naidu shared a video on her Tik Tok @ananthinaidu about a special altar that she made for her furry companions that have passed away.

She also placed a flower garland around each picture of the dogs and decorated the table with different dog-related items like animal jerky, a soft toy, and more.

The video sees her lighting a candle in remembrance and displaying close-ups of each dog's photograph.

She said that all the dogs whose pictures were on the altar had been rescued by her in the past.

As was evident in the comments section, Ananthi's endeavours moved a great number of Malaysians to great depths. Some even said that the display brought tears to their eyes.
