#NSTviral: Netizens outraged at woman's behaviour towards bus driver [WATCH]

KUALA LUMPUR: A video of a woman shouting and disrespecting a bus driver went viral, infuriating netizens for the disrespect.

The approximately 40-second video shared by @MALAYSIAVIRALLL has rapidly gained traction, amassing over 1.5 million views within a day since its posting on X.

The brief clip captures a heated exchange between the woman wearing glasses and the bus driver stemming from the former's dissatisfaction with the bus's refusal to pick up passengers at that particular time.

Expressing her frustration, she asserted her familiarity with the transportation system, stating: "This isn't my first time taking this bus! Who stops intermittently during such free time?"

However, the bus driver countered, suggesting that if she was not aware of the schedule, it implied a lack of prior experience with the system.

She retorted: "If you don't know, it means you've never...".

Before completing her sentence, she abruptly raised her voice, demanding, "Then give me the customer service number! Give me the number to call, I'll ask... the customer service number..."

In the caption accompanying the video, the user believed that the bus driver might be an elderly woman based on her voice, who was calmly explaining a situation.

"Why do you want to get angry? You could just Google the customer service number if you're so upset. You must be the kind of woman who always thinks you're right."

Netizens expressed how upset and furious they were over the video. They said the angry woman was clearly unaware of the MRT bus services.

Netizens on the comment section were visibly upset and expressed their frustration regarding the video, particularly with the irate woman's apparent lack of understanding and knowledge about the MRT bus services.

User @HrsAsl said: "Pretending to speak English like it's something great. Hello, busybody, I also take public transport early in the morning. I have to stand, can't sit inside the bus, and have to wait until it opens on time.

"You're disrespectful to that woman. Why call customer service? Fire her? She's just trying to earn a living, you know."

Another user, @itssuriakamilan also said: "Sis, the bus has its schedule whether it enters the MRT station or not. If it arrives early or hasn't arrived at the designated time, even if it's near your stop, the door won't open for you.

"Also, you have a phone, just Google the number. Otherwise, tag it on social media," she said.
