#NSTviral: Driver speeds off, leaving officer clinging for dear life to car hood [Watch]

KUALA LUMPUR: A law enforcer in Indonesia held on for dear life after being stuck on the engine hood of a car that was speeding off to avoid being stopped by authorities.

In a 2-minute video that was posted on Facebook, three men in uniform attempted to stop the driver who was recording.

As one of the officers ordered the driver to open the door, the man refused to comply.

They then told the driver to park on the roadside and the latter suddenly stepped on the accelerator and sped off.

The video then revealed that one of the officers was clinging onto the hood while the driver still refused to stop while swerving left and right.

The officer was heard saying: "This is dangerous." to which the driver replied, "So what?"

The video garnered over 3.9 million views and over 4,000 comments.

Meanwhile, a user shed light on the matter claiming that the driver was stopped due to his bad behaviour.

"Someone said the driver passed (the area) four times and randomly hit the throttle while showing his middle finger.

"That is why the transportation officer stopped him. And he records it while just saying 'What? What?' Be careful guys. We don't know exactly what happened," user Moecikari Suargan commented.

"In the name of service, we risk our lives," user Donald Concepcion commented.
