Perak PAN leader also boycotts Pakatan convention

SHAH ALAM: A Perak Parti Amanah Negara (PAN) leader today boycotted Pakatan Harapan convention over dissatisfiction with low seat allocation to contest in the next general election.

Perak PAN chief Asmuni Awi told a news portal that he boycotted the convention over seat distribution issue among Pakatan allies.

However, Asmuni said other Perak PAN leaders attended the convention.

It was reported that Johor PAN leadership boycotted the convention at Ideal Convention Centre here after they were only given two parliamentary seats to contest.

Earlier today, its chief Aminolhuda Hassan said Johor PAN had requested to contest in five parliamentary seats but was only given two.
