Free mass weddings part of Federal Territory BN Manifesto

KUALA LUMPUR: More indoor parking and free mass weddings await residents in Federal Territory here, Putrajaya and Labuan if Barisan Nasional is given the mandate to rule this 14th General Election (GE14).

The people would also benefit from the building of additional 30 kilometres of roofed walkways - including at bus and taxi stands - among, others.

These were among the infrastructural and socio-economic improvements contained in the Federal Territory Barisan Nasional (BN) manifesto unveiled by its chairman Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor at the Putra World Trade Centre here today.

With the theme ‘Aspirasi Rakyat, Agenda Kami’ (The People’s Aspiration, Our Agenda), the manifesto is driven by five thrusts that focus on facilities, public transport system, and urban wellbeing of the people.

The five thrusts are Wilayah Maju (to boost the economy and increase job and business opportunities); Wilayahku Sejahtera (strengthen social and education quality); Wilayahku Selesa (continue construction of affordable housing and urban renewal); Wilayahku Aman (create safe neighbourhoods and improve health); and Wilayahku Ceria (increase facilities for people’s prosperity).
