KUCHING: Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, Tun Abdul Taib Mahmud, casted his vote at Sekolah Kebangsaan Merpati Jepang here today.
The Head of the State was accompanied by his wife, Toh Puan Ragad Kurdi Taib. They arrived at the school at 11.40am.
The school is a polling station under the Petra Jaya parliamentary constituency.
Taib also took the opportunity to mingle and shake hands with Election Commission officers before leaving the polling station.
It is learnt that his wife, who was spotted with indelible ink on one of her fingers, casted her vote at SMK Tun Abang Haji Openg here.
