PORT DICKSON: Teluk Kemang Umno division head Tan Sri Isa Samad received warm greetings from the local community when he arrived at SK Linggi here this morning to cast his vote.
Accompanied by his son, Teluk Kemang Umno Youth chief Mohd Najib, Isa arrived at the polling centre at about 11am.
Voters who noticed his presence immediately took the opportunity to greet him and took pictures with the former Negri Sembilan Menteri Besar who is also Port Dickson BN chairman.
"I am happy to be here today, not only to vote but also meet old friends whom I haven't met for a long time.
"Looking at the support today, I am confident that BN will be able to recapture the seat here," he said.
Earlier, Isa also greeted PKR candidate for Port Dickson Parliamentary seat, Danyal Balagopal Abdullah, who also arrived at the polling centre about the same time.
