One Shah Alam one destination and the Royal city of Klang

SHAH ALAM: I-Berhad announced a RM10 million investment last year for its City of Digital Light lightscape and attraction enhancements, which are all set to be completed soon.

These improvements, along with the company's commitment to the One Shah Alam One Destination corporate social responsibility (CSR), will help to increase the city's appeal.

The programme is timely in delivering the best of Shah Alam while also paying homage to its immediate neighbour, Klang.

Klang, Selangor's royal town and home to the country's busiest seaport, will be elevated to city status next month.

Having two major cities next to each other is a new milestone for Selangor, according to SM Goh, a senior real estate agent.

"Klang's city status will complement Shah Alam and drive investments in a way unimaginable," he told NST Property.

The Federal Highway, the New Klang Valley Motorway (NKVE), the Guthrie Corridor Motorway (GCE), the Shah Alam Motorway (KESAS), the North-South Motorway Central Link (ELITE), and the Kemuning-Shah Alam Highway (LKSA) are all easily accessible from Shah Alam and Klang.

Meanwhile, i-City's CNN-accredited City of Digital Lights enhanced lightscape promises an unforgettable experience for i-City residents and visitors.

The new lightscapes will be unveiled next month, followed by the opening of the 50,000 sq ft Digital Sports Arena and a five-dimensional Immersive Winterland.

According to I-Berhad executive chairman Tan Sri Lim Kim Hong, the One Shah Alam One Destination CSR initiative is not only aimed at attracting more investments, property buyers, and tourists to the state, but it is also about hosting community programmes that resonate with the principles of oneness and harmony.

He said that national public events, local community initiatives, and brand-sponsored extravaganzas will be broadcast to the public in the spaces surrounding i-City.

National public events, local community initiatives, and brand-sponsored extravaganzas will reverberate through the spaces surrounding i-City for the public to enjoy.

Government sectors, DoubleTree by Hilton i-City, Central i-City Mall, Best Western Hotel, Mercu Maybank, and the Federation of Malaysian Manufacturers are among the partners on board.

Today, i-City is more than just a township; it is a living embodiment of community spirit, transcending barriers and fostering a sense of togetherness.

Lim described the One Shah Alam One Destination CSR programme as a visionary pledge to unite Malaysians of various beliefs, cultural affiliations, and generations, echoing the core principles of the MADANI Malaysia concept.
