Intan shines with her second medal in New Delhi

KUALA LUMPUR: Budding cyclist Intan Nur Idrisah Abdul Razak clinched her second medal in her debut at the Asian Track Cycling Championships (ACC) in New Delhi today.

The 17-year-old bagged a bronze in the girls' 20km points race after collecting 15 points at the Indira Gandhi Velodrome.

Kazakhstan's Aruzhan Rakhmzhan won the gold and South Korean Bae Ye-eun settled for silver.

Intan, who has been training under Olympian Fatehah Mustapa for the past year, won the scratch race bronze on Friday.

National para cyclist Adi Raimie Amizazahan captured his second gold in the ACC after winning the men's para C3 individual pursuit final in 1:18.295s.

Adi won the scratch event on Friday, finishing in 3:55.413s, ahead of Indonesia Alana Tifan (3:58.112s).

Indonesian Saori Sufiyan denied Malaysia's Zuhairi Ahmad Tarmizi the gold in the men's para C5 individual pursuit final after clocking 5:09.258s. Tarmizi came in second best with 5:15.696s.
