KUALA LUMPUR: Following E. Elavarasan's resignation as national Under-23 coach, who will replace him?
With less than seven months to go before the Under-23 Asian Cup in Doha, FAM need to appoint a coach to replace Elavarasan.
When asked about this, FAM deputy president Datuk S. Sivasundaram said: "The secretary general (Datuk Noor Azman Rahman) will come out with a statement on Saturday."
Among the names speculated for the job are Kedah's Nafuzi Zain, Hairuddin Omar (Terengganu), Pau Marti Vicente (national coach Pan Gon's assistant), Juan Torred Garrido (national Under-23 assistant) and former footballer Akmal Rizal Ahmad Rakhli.
