KUALA LUMPUR: Hakim Danish Ramli has earned a ticket to next year's Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup after undergoing a selection process in Modena, Italy, recently with more than 100 participants.
The 15-year-old rider will be accompanied by compatriot Danial Syahmi Ahmad Shahril who will be competing for the second season in the Rookies Cup.
Hakim underlined his potential as the next big thing in Malaysian motorsport by winning the Asia Talent Cup recently.
ZK Racing manager Zulfahmi Khairuddin said: "We have high hopes for Hakim Danish. He is a full-time professional rider now.
"We have good people around him and we hope one day, he can achieve his potential."
