BANDAR SERI BEGAWAN: Electricity supplies were cut in most parts of Brunei on Tuesday starting from around 12:30 p.m. local time, residents and the government hotline told Xinhua.
An operator of the 123 government hotline said that they received many calls complaining of power outage at home or work premises.The cause of the widespread power outage is not yet known.
A short statement from the 123 hotline reminded the callers that the government is working to resolve the matter.--BERNAMA-XINHUA
