If you see motorists driving haphazardly in Meru, Klang, it could be due to the faded white lines in the middle of the road.
A resident, Shamsuddin, said motorists are not be able to see the lines and sometimes enter the opposite lanes, especially at night.
“It is very dangerous as the white lines act as a guide for road users,” he said, adding that there were schools along the affected roads.
“The roads with the fading white lines are Jalan Meru and Jalan Hamzah Alang from Meru to Kapar.”

A Klang Public Works Department spokesman said it had received similar complaints.
“We are waiting for an allocation for this and it is expected to arrive soon.
“We will repaint the white lines
as soon as we receive the allocation,” he said, advising motorists
to drive carefully along these roads.
