KUALA LUMPUR: The Securities Commission (SC) has added two names on its investor alert list.
As of March 18, the commission included Merlion Global in its list of unauthorised entities due to its engagement in unlicensed capital market activities involving the trading of securities.
Additionally, BelleoFX Saham Trader has been flagged as a potential clone entity by the SC.
This entity operates as an illicit investment scheme promising high returns, such as RM7,000 with an investment of RM300.
According to the SC website, it is also involved in unauthorised capital market activities related to securities trading.
