IN conjunction with its Acer Day celebration, Acer has collaborated with six young and vibrant singers virtually to produce the special song of the theme title 'Live Your World'.
Singing for Malaysia is Aina Abdul who carried her part of the song in Malay and English. She is joined by five other singers namely Earth Patravee from Thailand, Gabriel Prince from Indonesia, GBOYSWAG from Taiwan, Sarah Geronimo from Philippines and VP BÁ V??NG from Vietnam.
The Acer Day was first introduced in 2017 to celebrate the brand's achievements with customers, and this year, Acer is bringing the celebration online due to public health concerns during the pandemic.
"Most of us are encouraged to stay home and reduce social activities. However, we want to tell all our fans that staying at home does not mean you have to be alone. The Acer Day theme of 'Live Your World' this year draws inspiration from the belief that all of us can make the best of any situation and continue to live our lives, no matter where we are and what constraints we are under. Technology has broken barriers and enabled people to stay connected even more. We believe music is the best medium to transcend borders and circumstances, that's why we inviting the artists to create a special song - Live Your World," said Acer Pan Asia Pacific Operations' president, Andrew Hou.
Acer has prepared a series of performances and activities on Acer Malaysia Facebook.
LiveYourWorldWithAcer challenge
Acer is also inviting Malaysians at home to participate in the #LiveYourWorldWithAcer challenge by showcasing skills they picked up durng the MCO on Instagram Reel.
These are skill such as dancing, singing, cooking, painting and more. whilst some have begun embarking on a healthier lifestyle by trying out various healthy home-cooked recipes or even working out more.
Participants just need to record a 30-second video to show how they can "Be An Entertainer", to "Inspire Healthy Lifestyle" or "Unleash Your Inner Artist". Prizes include Acer Aspire 5 and Acer Swift 3 worth RM3,899 and RM3,499 respectively for the grand winner and first runner-up, while bi-weekly winners can bring home Touch 'n Go credit worth RM200, an Acer Day Yoga Mat or an Acer Day T-shirt.
At the same time, Acer is preparing several promotions to thank its supportive customers with the Acer Day x Shopee Superbrand Day on 3 and 4 August 2021. Promotions include:
* Up to 60 per cent or up to RM500 off for Acer's wide range of products.
* Up to RM200 store vouchers available for customers to collect and apply during checkout.
* The top 10 spenders from select Acer Stores on Shopee will be able to bring home a Predator Gaming Chair that worth RM1,299.
