KUALA LUMPUR: Now that Datuk Siti Nurhaliza had made her big bun-in-the-oven reveal, the next question fans are asking is whether it’s a boy or a girl.
While the 38-year-old songstress is currently at a pregnancy stage that’s a little too early to tell, her husband, Datuk Seri Mohd Khalid Jiwa however, hopes for a daughter.
“I already have four wonderful boys, so it would be lovely to get a girl this time, but that is all up to God. What’s most important is that the baby is healthy.
“We’ve gone through many rounds of fertility treatments, and have opted for traditional treatments too. Finally after 11 years, God has granted us this rezeki,” he said.
Meanwhile, Siti on the other hand said that if the baby were to be a girl, her name would begin with “Siti” as well.
“Once the doctors inform us of the baby’s gender, we will share it with everyone,” she said when met at her “majlis kesyukuran” (thanksgiving ceremony) at her home in Bukit Antarabangsa last Friday.
