KUALA LUMPUR: When TV host-radio announcer Raja Azura Tengku Ahmad Tajudin was announced as one of the singer contestants for the upcoming Astro’s reality show Gegar Vaganza Season 4 (GV4), many were surprised.
Some even predicted that she will be among the first few to be booted out early in the competition.
“Say what you want, I don’t care. I don’t even want to know what people out there would say of my participation in GV4,” said the 45-year-old artiste.
More popularly known for her TV hosting and radio gigs in recent times, Raja Azura had recorded two albums in the past, including her 2008 self-titled album.
Fondly referred to as Kak Engku, she is up against the more experienced singers like Elyana, Syura, Aishah, Liza Hanim, Haida, Hazami, Lan (of the band Kristal), Tia (Jinbara), Ferhad, Firman Siagian and Aqasha.
GV4’s first concert will be held on Oct 29.
