KUALA LUMPUR: Actress Nabila Huda is looking quite different these days after choosing to take a short cut in the hair department.
Sporting an unexpected cropped look, the 33-year-old actress who had just finished filming TV drama series Dendam Aurora, said that she chose the stylistic change to try out something new.
In a recent news report she said: “Since I’m not currently tied to any TV series or film, it was time for me to change my style and do something I haven’t done before. But at the same time, I didn’t actually plan to chop off my hair this short.”
She added: “It was a spontaneous decision that came to me while I was at Ridz Okumura ‘s salon. After some consultation he agreed with me.”
According to the Rempit Sampai Langit star, her new look was well received by her husband and fans alike.
Nabila, who had previously coloured her long locks blonde, added that her hair had become hard and rough due to the dyeing process, so she wanted to trim it in order for new and healthier hair to emerge.
“After cutting it, I felt fresh and comfortable. No more feelings of nervousness like when I had my long hair,” she said.
On Tuesday, Nabila uploaded a picture of her new look on her Instagram account and wrote: Back to black, back to basic! Short and Sweet.
The post drew over 122,000 views with lots of comments praising her new do.
