KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Kaka Azraff knows full well that to follow in the footsteps of her aunt, Queen of Rock Ella, is no easy feat.
“But she is definitely my yardstick in achieving success in the entertainment industry,” said the 28-year-old artiste.
Kaka began her singing career when she was featured in actor-comedian-singer Zizan Razak’s 2012 single Bawaku Pergi.
She said she was fortunate to observed up close on how Ella had handled her long-standing career.
Kaka also took note how the 51-year-old star had kept herself relevant through the years, from the 1980s all the way up until today, by taking extra care in maintaining good relationship with people around her.
“I followed her to events and saw how she interacted with people from various walks of life. I learned a lot from her and hope to apply what I’ve learned in my singing journey,” she said.
