#Showbiz: Siti keeps a close eye on daughter remotely

KUALA LUMPUR: Whenever work keeps her away from her four-month-old daughter, popular singer Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin admits that she would miss little Siti Aafiyah, even for just a couple of hours.

“When I’m outside attending events or working, I keep thinking of my little daughter left at home,” said the 39-year-old songstress in a recent news report.

And because of that, she recently installed a closed-circuit television (CCTV) at home which is linked to her mobile phone.

“Thanks to the technology we have today, I could at least keep an eye on her when I am away. At least, that way I could check on her at any time.

“If you see me sitting quietly with my face looking down on my mobile phone, that means I’m checking on her,” she revealed.

Siti also admitted that the first two months after the birth of her child had been the most challenging for her as she needed to not only adjust to caring for the little one but also to manage her sleeping cycle.

“But thankfully, everything has turned out okay now and it’s easy to care for Aafiyah who has some tantrums,” she said.
