KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia's No. 1 singer, Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin, welcomes the idea of working with Indonesian singer Mahalini in the future.
In a news report yesterday, the 45-year-old said she was pleasantly surprised to read about Mahalini's intention right after she got home from her Umrah trip to Saudi Arabia.
"Of course, we can collaborate, Mahalini," said Siti.
Earlier, Mahalini, who was in town last weekend to promote her upcoming Lovechestra Mahalini Live In Kuala Lumpur on Feb 3, told reporters that she would love to cooperate with Siti, whom she said is a phenomenon in her country.
"I'd love to compose a song for her. But, the question is, would she want to (collaborate)?"
Mahalini is scheduled to perform at Mega Star Arena KL.
