KUALA LUMPUR: Some celebrities would go above and beyond to make their fans’ wishes come true and one of them is popular rapper Altimet.
The artiste granted the wish of a fan known as Tarshan, a high school student from SMK Aminuddin Baki who asked him if he would be keen to collaborate for a school performance in conjunction with its Hari Malaysia celebration.
Apparently, all it took was for Tarshan to send a Direct Message (DM) on Instagram to convince the rapper to say yes.
Sharing the experience on Instagram, Altimet wrote: Kurang lebih 1 bulan lepas dia DM aku kata dia nak nyanyi #Negaraku kat sambutan #HariMalaysia kat sekolah dia, tanya aku sudi tak join sekali. Memang on ah. (About a month ago, he sent me a DM asking if I wanted to sing Negaraku with him at his school for Hari Malaysia. Of course I agreed)
In another post showcasing a video of his experience at the school and meeting Tarshan, Altimet added: “Kalau nak kan something, kena ikhtiar, tanya. Dapat tak dapat belakang cerita. Dia nak, dia tanya, dia dapat.” (If you want something, you have to ask. Whether you get it or not, that’s a different story. He wanted it, he asked for it, he got it).
