KUALA LUMPUR: The latest single by Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin, Anta Permana, released today has already climbed to the top of Malaysia’s iTunes chart.
“Alhamdulillah, I’m grateful for the encouraging response and feedbacks received. I thank all my fans who’ve always been supportive of me and my work,” she said in a news report today.
#AntaPermana even trended worldwide on Twitter since last night.
The 39-year-old artiste said that the song title, a classic Malay word, meant infinity, and it reflected the lyrics well.
Anta Permana is composed by Hael Husaini and Ezra Kong.
“This is my first collaboration with the duo. I’m also setting high expectations for this song. I hope music fans will like it,” said the country’s No. 1 singer who admitted that she loved the song the first time she had heard the demo in May.
Siti said the song was not only fresh but it featured a catchy melody, and music that combined classic and modern.
