KUALA LUMPUR: There’s no limit to what breastfeeding working mothers will do to make it work, and Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza is no exception.
As proof that celebrity mums are multi-tasking experts too, the country’s No. 1 singer shared her experience breastfeeding her daughter Siti Aafiyah in between rehearsals and singing practices during her work trip to Japan to attend the Asean Japan Music Festival.
Sitting in a room which what resembles a dressing room, Siti was captured from behind nursing Aafiyah in an Instagram post. The caption read: “Beginilah pengorbanan ibu, tiba-tiba ada ‘kuasa’ luar biasa. Layan anak, menyusu, berlatih, menyanyi, saya salute buat semua ibu, baik suri rumah ataupun ibu berkerjaya.”
(This is a mother’s sacrifice. Suddenly we have super powers. Juggling everything from caring for children, breastfeeding, rehearsing to performing. I salute to all mothers out there whether you’re a stay-at-home mum or a working one.)
The comment section of the Anta Permana singer’s saw fans giving her their thumbs up for trying to do her best for her baby no matter the situation.
A follower wrote: “All mothers are like this… we sacrifice a lot for our beloved children”.
