KUALA LUMPUR: With a whopping 13.1 million followers on her Instagram to date, Lisa of popular all-girl group BlackPink is officially the most followed Korean female celebrity.
She dethroned Girl’s Generation’s Taeyeon, the previous record holder who has 12.9 million followers.
All four BlackPink members have each gained an impressive amount of followers since they launched their respective Instagram accounts in June last year.
Jennie boasts 11.8 million, Rose garnered 10.1 million, while Jisoo has hers at 10 million.
According to Soompi, BlackPink’s official Instagram account was also crowned Instagram Korea’s Top Girl Group in 2018, an award given to an official and verified group account with the most followers.
