KUALA LUMPUR: For the first time ever, K-Pop girl GFRIEND will be making its way onto our shores for its Asia Tour 2019.
Comprising Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB and Umji, they will be performing at the Malawati Indoor Stadium, Shah Alam on June 29 at 6pm.
Known for hits like Rough and Navillera, the six-member outfit was formed in 2015 by entertainment company Source Music.
It has since released two studio albums LOL (2016) and Time For Us (2019), a compilation album titled Me Gustas Tu (2018), seven EPs, and one repackaged album, Parallel (2017), all of which have been very well-received by their fans whom they adoringly refer to as “Buddy”.
GFRIEND who won Best New Female Artiste in 2015 at the Melon Music Awards, went on to receive several more awards at the Gaon Chart K-Pop Awards, Golden Disc Awards and Seoul Music Awards. They recently won Best Female Artiste in 2018 at the Melon Music Awards.
Ticket pricing starts from RM168 (Green Zone), RM238 (Yellow Zone), RM338 (Red Zone), RM398 (BUDDY Zone) to RM548 (BUDDY Zone VIP Package).
Fans can purchase tickets offline on April 6 and 7 through Mcalls digital lifestyle stores at noon onwards, while online ticket sales will happen on April 8 via Mcalls’ official website, www.macpiepro.com and Mcalls’ MMspot app, also at noon.
