KUALA LUMPUR: Singapore’s Rockfest II is still happening next month but its main concert featuring legendary hard rock bands Scorpions and Whitesnake will be pushed to a different date and venue.
Day 1 of the festival will now take place on March 5 at The Star Theatre (1 Vista Exchange Green, #04-01, Singapore 138617).
All tickets purchased for the March 4 concert featuring the iconic German and English groups at Fort Canning Park will now be valid for the rescheduled date and place.
The general admission show will see the doors opening at 6pm with the first band playing at 6.30pm. Those who arrive early and those who purchase the priority entry tickets will have first choice of the seats.
Concert organiser, LAMC Productions, made the announcement and added that, “Moving the show indoors to The Star Theatre will provide a better overall fan experience and allows us to offer a Category 2 ticket option, as well as additional group packages which we’re calling the ‘Horns Up’ group bundles.”
The approximately 5-hour concert will also feature Singaporean band RockWeller as the opening act.
