KUALA LUMPUR: Singer Jaclyn Victor expressed her gratitude for Malaysia's No.1 singer Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin when the latter complimented her performance at the recent Gegar Vaganza Season 9 (GV9) finale.
The champion of GV9 said that it meant a lot to her seeing that it came from a fellow artiste who was well-known not just in Malaysia, but also in the region.
"I'm very touched by her Tweet (on the evening of GV9 finale). She's also a huge supporter," Jaclyn was quoted in a Harian Metro report yesterday.
"Coming from someone whose name is huge not only in Malaysia, but Asia as well, I feel very honoured.
"Thank you Tok Ti," she said.
On Sunday, Jaclyn, 43, beat Shila Amzah, Tomok, Bob Yusof, V.E. and Hazrul Nizam in the reality competition to take home the champion trophy and cash prize of RM100,000.
Jaclyn, who is also a single mother, also said that she planned to put aside the prize money for her two children.
