#Showbiz: Siti expresses gratitude for Malaysians' praise of her performance at AR Rahman's concert

KUALA LUMPUR: Songstress Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza Tarudin is relieved that her recent performance of the classic Tamil song Munbe Vaa has wowed many.

Her stellar performance, a duet with Indian vocalist Haricharan Seshadri, not only captivated the 60,000-strong audience who attended AR Rahman: Secret of Success Live in Malaysia 2023 concert last Saturday, but the video of the show was also shared and liked by many on social media too.

"I'm touched to read all the good reviews of my performance at AR Rahman's concert last night (Saturday night).

"Praise be to God, there's nothing much I can say except to express my gratitude for the opportunity which came my way. I have done my best, not only for myself, but also for fans out there and of course, for Malaysia," wrote the 44-year-old artiste in the caption of her latest video on Instagram.

Siti also recounted how it didn't take long for her to decide when she received the offer from the Indian music maestro to be a part of his concert here.

"Last night, I had ticked one wish off my wishlist (that is to perform at AR Rahman's concert)."
