#Showbiz: Ruhainies claps back at netizens over video with Aliff at airport clad in white religious garb

KUALA LUMPUR: Controversy-ridden actress Ruhainies has criticised netizens and the media over a video she shared in an Instagram Story entry today.

The video showed Ruhainies, 31, together with fellow artiste Aliff Aziz at the airport.

Both were dressed in white religious garb with Ruhainies clad in a hijab as Aliff led a prayer recitation amid several other unidentified people.

It was understood that the two celebrities were at the location for the filming of the ongoing drama series that they currently star in.

The video has since gone viral with many netizens commenting on the two artistes who had become the talk of the town after they were allegedly arrested for khalwat recently.

In a following IG Story, Ruhainies wrote: "Posted my IG Story and in less than 15 minutes the video has already gone viral on TikTok, IG, FB, etc. It shows how bad our mentality is."

"Your mind is full of negativity. It's a video of us praying before working (filming). And it shows that this world is already too sick and full of lies," she said.

Ruhainies, whose full name is Nur Ruhainies Farehah Zainul Ilyas, added that there was a lot of fake news going around as well.

"We have crew everywhere with walkie-talkies, everyone knows we are filming a drama.

"And it's so easy for people to accumulate sins nowadays.

"Watch your tongue and watch your lips. It's a Friday on Ramadan. Reflect," she said.

Ruhainies ended her entry with: "A message to myself as well. May my prayers of goodwill or otherwise be reverted onto you as well."
