Reporters from the mainstream and new media converged in front of Istana Bukit Kayangan here and also the home of Azmin Ali, widely tipped to take over the post from Tan Sri Khalid Ibrahim but there was flurry of activities.
Azmin's two cars, a Toyota Camry and a Vellfire are parked in his compound.
It was reported that the Sultan had met the three potential candidates - Azmin, Iskandar Samad and Dr Ahmad Yunos Hairi - and the "chosen one" will get his letter of appointment today.
Last week, invitation cards for the appointment of a new MB were sent out to guests. Istana officials confirmed that the ceremony to appoint the new MB would be held tomorrow.
