JITRA: Participants of the Malaysian Writers Summit here passed the hat around and collected some RM2,460 for the Media Prima Bhd Palestine Humanitarian Fund.
A cheque for the amount was presented by strategic director in the Prime Minister's department Datuk Sahlan Ismail to Berita Harian literary editor Mohd Nazmi Yaakub at the Darulaman Golf and Country Club today.
Sahlan said each participant donated RM10. The three-day summit at the Darulaman Golf and Country Club ends tomorrow.
