SEREMBAN: The Negri Sembilan government has agreed to pay a half-month bonus or a minimum of RM500 to the state's civil servants.
Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan said the bonus would be paid on Jan 2, 2015.
"With this incentive, I hope the performance of the state civil servants will continue to be improved in addition to uphold the principles of integrity in all of their work," he said when tabling the 2015 Budget in the State Assembly here today.
Mohamad said the RM364.9 million state budget for next year was an increased of 3.5 per cent compared to the state's 2014 budget.
He said the expected increase in revenue would allow the state government to register a surplus budget of RM2.4 million for next year.
