MERSING: Four relief centres in the Mersing district which went into operation since Friday, closed after those seeking shelter returned to their homes after floods resided since early this morning.
Mersing district officer Mohd Nasir Abd Salam, said the 373 flash flood victims from 105 families were allowed to return to their respective homes.
The centres -Sekolah Kebangsaan (SK) Tenglu Besar, SK Sri Pantai and SK Air Papan ceased operation early this morning while the centre at SK Pusat Air Tawar ceased operations about noon today.
